Actuarial Manager

A global health insurer is seeking a qualified actuary (or nearly qualified) to manage their pricing team in Singapore. 

Part of the international pricing function, this role will manage a small team of analysts pricing health insurance across the South East Asia region. There will be a need to develop efficient pricing models; provide advice to clients, underwriters and agents; enhance and utilise data; be integral to business planning; conduct market and technical pricing and portfolio analysis. 

This is a varied role which would suit an actuary with a GI or health background. Pricing experience with techniques such as GLMs would be useful, but also an interest in innovative solutions and software would also be advantageous. 

Although pricing experience is useful, this role could also be attractive to candidates from other actuarial backgrounds such as reserving and capital modelling; if they can display the people management abilities and genuine interest in this field.
