Fairbank Partners are working with a leading general insurer in their search a Qualified Reserving Actuary to join their Commercial lines reserving team, based in Central London.

The opportunity:

  • Excellent opportunity to join a market leader in General Insurance
  • Clear career progression to management, part of a succession plan
  • Assist in ad-hoc capital and risk projects when required 
  • Opportunity to do secondments in pricing
  • Quarterly reserving, and the opportunity to be exposed to IFRS17 projects

The individual:

  • Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary in General Insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous Reserving experience within general insurance, and user of ResQ
