(Nearly/Newly) Qualified Pensions Actuary
Sanderson Recruitment are currently working with a UK Pensions specialist to recruit several Qualified Pensions Actuaries to join various offices across the UK.
The Pensions Actuary will work closely with a variety of stakeholders on various subjects such as scheme funding and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Checking and reviewing a variety of actuarial calculations
- Understanding the implications of the results of the above calculations
- Drafting reports, emails and presentations to deliver actuarial results and advice
- Taking a proactive role in person development/training
- Attending and delivering internal technical sessions
Person specification:
- Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary with experience of working within the pensions industry
- Some understanding of how UK pensions scheme operate
- Excellent planning skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office
