Head of Chief Appointments

A leading consultancy in the city are searching for a Head of Chief Appointments to join their growing business to support and grow their offering within the senior level insurance market.

You will be expected to work on the businesses Chief appointments, including Chief Actuary and With-Profits Actuary positions. These assignments can be interim or long-standing roles, giving you the opportunity to establish yourself within a business and really make your mark.

Alongside this, you will be involved in developing further business for the consultancy and have involvement in developing the team of students and qualified actuaries.

The successful candidate will:

• Need to have significant post qualified experience and have risen to a senior level within their current business.
• You will have responsibility for developing and building relationships in the market, so knowledge of the industry and willingness to succeed is a must.
• Being a leader is key to this role, and you must enjoy and thrive of developing junior candidates coming through the business.
• UK or Irish practising certificates necessary.
