Job Details
Seeking a technically-astute, part-qualified life actuary to help maintain and monitor the key Actuarial IT applications and environments and advise on the strategic direction of these applications in the Actuarial department.
Monitoring the general functioning of all the actuarial systems and applications, you will liaise with IT and the software providers to make sure that any issue affecting the department is dealt with promptly and effectively.
You will also implement and test process enhancements identified as a result of acquisitions, other new business transactions, or as a result of business initiatives or regulatory change.
In addition, you will ensure that any systems or infrastructure related queries from Corporate Actuarial Reporting are answered in a timely fashion and to a high standard.
With a general understanding of IT developments in the industry, the successful candidate will possess a good problem-solving aptitude alongside an awareness of Life Insurance products.
