Newly Qualified Capital Projects Actuary

Fairbank Partners are working with a leading specialist Annuity provider who have a requirement for a Qualified Actuary join an expanding Projects team.

• In this role you will be working on a range of projects which are key to the overall performance of the Capital team and the wider business,
• You will be playing a key role in the design and implementation of the IFRS 17 program,
• You will also have a key focus on upgrading an implementing changes to the Internal Model,
• There are a variety of other projects across SII, ORSA, Matching Adjustment eligibility etc.
• This role will give you a step up in responsibility and you will have real ownership of the projects you are working on,
• You will act as a subject matter expert to the wider business on topics such as IFRS 17 and the Internal Model,
• The ideal candidate will be a Newly Qualified Actuary with a Life Insurance background,
• IFRS 17 and Internal Model experience would be advantageous but not essential,
• Good understanding of SII requirements,
• Excellent communication skills,
