Job Details
My client, a Lloyd’s/London Market insurer, is looking for a graduate to join their actuarial team. They are looking for a graduate who has a strong desire and demonstrated interest in joining the non-life London Market insurance industry.
It will be an all-encompassing role and you will gain exposure to other departments including pricing, reserving, capital modelling and risk.
You must have an aptitude for programming and software - experience with Excel, VBA and R are a must.
A strong academic background is required with a minimum of AAB at A-Levels, including mathematics, and a 2:1/1st Class Honours in a numerical degree. You will be provided with study support to begin your actuarial examinations.
Communication skills are essential to build and maintain internal and external relationships. Characteristics desired include someone who is a quick learner and can use their initiative.
They are looking for someone to start immediately.
