Senior Actuarial Analyst (Pricing)

I am recruiting for one of my leading Insurance clients who are searching for a Senior Pricing Analyst within their Commercial Pricing team. This is an integral role where you will be leading the analysis of the client’s largest commercial book, to provide recommendations to improve their pricing capabilities across professional liability books. You will also use your technical expertise to implement new Pricing strategies.

The role will allow you to apply your existing pricing & market knowledge to ensure appropriate application of existing pricing methodologies, whilst also giving you the opportunity to analyse existing trading performance and identify innovative and effective changes to improve their capabilities.

As a Senior Analyst you will also have training and mentoring responsibilities of more junior members of the team, giving you the perfect platform to progress into a managerial role in the future.

Key skills sought:

• My client is looking for someone with a minimum of three years pricing experience
• Experience using SAS, SQL, R or a specialised Pricing software (Radar/EMBlem)
• In addition to having strong analytical skills, the role requires you to be an effective communicator because you will be liaising with other teams and senior stakeholders
