Job Details

Our client, a dynamic and unique Lloyd's syndicate is looking for a nearly/newly qualified actuary.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside some of the top actuaries and underwriters in the industry. The role will offer exposure to the head of pricing, who leads a collaborative and expanding team that values the implementation of new ideas and projects.

Key responsibilities:
*Case pricing; work alongside some of the top rated underwriters in the market to help analyse individual risks.
*Technical pricing; develop and deliver new models, improving information provided to the underwriters.
*Liaise with teams across the whole business to help with their ad hoc projects.

Successful candidate will have:
* Degree in mathematical/statistics based subject with a minimum grade of 2:1.
* 3+ years general insurance industry experience.
* Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.                                                 
* Experience in Actuarial/data science software i.e. VBA, R or Python would make you a strong candidate.
