I have a unique and an exciting opportunity to join a growing business. My client manufactures and sells insurance and warranties to key manufacturers and large dealerships. They are looking to strengthen their leadership team and hence a position for a Pricing Actuary has come about.
I have a unique and an exciting opportunity to join a growing business. My client manufactures and sells insurance and warranties to key manufacturers and large dealerships. They are looking to strengthen their leadership team and hence a position for a Pricing Actuary has come about. In this role you will develop and maintain personal lines GLM pricing models using relevant statistical software, covering new business and renewal pricing. You will also develop and enhance pricing capacity through the implementation of new rating factors, interaction and micro-segmentation.
You will ideally be a Qualified Actuary or a Nearly Qualified Actuary. You must have General Insurance pricing experience ideally within personal lines. Experience of Emblem, Earnix and SQL is ideal. For this position strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will need to able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This really is a great role for someone with ambition.
