Fairbank Partners have been approached by a Global Life Insurer in Hong Kong to support the recruitment of an Actuarial Director to lead on regional actuarial reporting activities covering country management, results consolidation as well as actuarial project support.

The Asian Life Insurance market is experiencing significant growth where Asian countries comprise five of the top 10 life insurance markets worldwide.  Our client is the Regional Head Office covering 12 markets with local Actuarial teams in each operation.  Our client is a progressive and growing life insurer providing significant Actuarial challenge, variety and career opportunity.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Actuary with significant post-qualified experience within the UK or European Life Insurance market.  Previous experience of at least one of EEV, FSG, IFRS or Solvency II metrics is highly desirable as is the ability to lead an experienced team, excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate results to executive level.
