Actuarial Analyst - Pricing - City Based

Up to £40,000 + excellent benefits

I'm working closely with a leading FTSE 100 Life Insurance Business in the City to appoint a new Actuarial Analyst to their team. This role will suit an Actuarial Student who is currently working within a Pricing role and is looking for an opportunity to be part of a leading insurer.

Due to continued growth, this person will be supporting the Senior Actuarial Analyst and Pricing Manager to price new and existing business tenders amongst other responsibilities.

The Candidate

  • Part Qualified Actuary that has had exposure to the pricing function.
  • You will need to be commercially aware as you will be engaging with internal, many non-actuarial, stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • You will need to know how to manage your time appropriately and be able to take initiative.
  • Any experience of Prophet is advantageous but full training is given.

The business offer a highly regarded student rotation policy, giving you insight into all parts of the business and enabling you to have a breadth of knowledge within the life market.

This is not a "turn the handle" job and is perfect for an Actuarial Student who wants to get involved in interesting work.
