Reporting Actuary

A vacancy has risen within the Capital team of a Life Insurance business based in Central London. The is a very established business operating in the protection and annuities market. They are enjoying a health period of growth which has lead to the need of a qualified reporting actuary to join their team. The tasks are varied giving you exposure to MCEV, IFRS17 and SII, some of the daily duties include:

• Production of year end reports
• Reviewing the business' solvency position, profit and capital surplus
• Ongoing monitoring of the economic capital
• Calibration of the internal model, identifying requirements, suggesting efficiencies

In order to be considered, you will be a qualified actuary with a good understanding of protection and annuity products. You will have sound knowledge of SII and IFRS and thrive in a challenging environment.

From day one you will be working closely with senior members of the team so strong verbal and written communication is essential.
