Senior Capital Analyst

My client, a successful global insurer, is currently recruiting for a dynamic part-qualified actuary to join their Capital Modelling team. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership and work autonomously on model development, and will be responsible for continuous process improvement, as well as regulatory requirements and internal capital reporting. The team are also involved in business partnering across the EU and you would have significant interaction with various senior stakeholders, such as CFOs and CROs, as well as Pricing teams and Underwriters. There will also be the opportunity to take on managerial responsibilities, in the form of mentoring junior members of the team, making this role an excellent stepping stone for individuals looking to progress into a position of management in the not-so-distant future.

Capital modelling experience would be advantageous; however, the hiring manager is flexible on background, providing that candidates have strong communication skills and are making good exam progress. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to move into a capital role with no prior capital experience.
