Actuarial Trainee 1-3 Years experience - Consultancy - Edinburgh - up to £35,000
Our client, a rapidly expanding Actuarial Pensions Consultancy, is seeking to appoint an ambitious, driven Actuarial Trainee to join their consulting team in Edinburgh. This is fantastic opportunity for an Actuarial Student with 1+ years experience to work alongside an experienced team in delivering high quality Actuarial advice to range of trustee and corporate clients
The role will involve a number of Actuarial & Trustee focused tasks including:
- Performing calculations for company accounting work in relation to FRS102 and IAS19 accounting standards & preparation of accounting disclosures.
- Preparing, manipulating and validating information for input into in-house valuation system
- calculating actuarial factors, funding updates
- drafting letters, preparing information for trustee meetings, handling technical queries
The requirement
- Previous Actuarial work experience, preferably gained in the Pensions field
- Demonstrable understanding of Pensions Actuarial work
- Progress with Actuarial exams i.e. FFA, FIA
