Senior Actuarial Analyst
West-Midlands
Sanderson Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join a well-known insurance business on a permanent basis. The Senior Actuarial Analyst will contribute to both BAU and Project work within the Unit Pricing Team and will be expected to lead Project work and provide support to junior members within the team.
Responsibilities of the Senior Actuarial Analyst:
- Calculation of Daily Unit Prices
- Ensure documentation is kept up to date
- Assist in a number of projects, in particular support with future migrations of Unit Linked Business
- Play a lead role in Small/Medium sized projects and lead junior members of the team
Skills, Qualifications & Experience of the Senior Actuarial Analyst:
- Mathematical, Actuarial or Scientific Degree
- Strong progress though Actuarial Exams
- At least 2 years within an Actuarial function, preferably within Life Insurance
- Good understanding of Life Insurance Products
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Strong communicator with ability to explain complex ideas effectively
