APAC Business Development Lead (Leading European Re-insurer)

As APAC Business Development Lead, you will be driving origination of profitable reinsurance business across Asia. Your coverage will focus on anything that has a corporate finance angle to re-insurance and will also have a strategic element as it is very much forward looking research work in identifying industry drivers/upcoming changes that could impact clients and understanding what that means for clients.

As APAC Business Development Lead, you will be an integral part in driving origination of profitable reinsurance business across Asia. Your coverage will focus on anything that has a corporate finance angle to re-insurance and will also have a strategic element as it is very much forward looking research work in identifying industry drivers and upcoming changes that could impact clients and understanding what that means for clients. In this role you will be directly managing a team and will have APAC coverage.

This role will give unparalleled access to senior management both internally and across the industry on a regional scale.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience with managerial history advantageous. More experienced candidates will be considered for a suitable level. You will be expected to be a thought leader in understanding the insurance market drivers and working with the internal teams to come up with technical solutions. Commercial actuaries and management consultants would be ideal backgrounds as you must be comfortable speaking in front of senior stakeholders and driving ideas from concepts to tangible solutions.
