My client is an international reinsurance company who are looking to add a hire to their research team. Ideally, this person will be someone with strong knowledge of actuarial research techniques who could work on traditional topics such as reinsurance risk pricing but with a slant towards data science. This person would take a lead role in implementing new techniques within the business and upskilling the actuaries with data modelling techniques and the use of programming tools such as R, SQL etc.
This person could be an actuary or similarly skilled individual with insurance knowledge, in particular knowledge of protection products would be useful and research techniques across areas such as mortality, morbidity etc.
