My client is recruiting for a Data Scientist to lead the research and development activity of the pricing team, developing methods to test and evaluate alternative modelling approaches, data development and performance management.

My client is recruiting for a Data Scientist to lead the research and development activity of the pricing team, developing methods to test and evaluate alternative modelling approaches, data development and performance management. You will draw on the support of a team of Actuarial Analysts to develop quantitative and qualitative methods for evaluating performance of existing and future predictive models. For this role you will have a broad understanding of technical and actuarial pricing techniques. You will understand a range of predictive modelling approaches including GLMs. You will have expert knowledge of R or Python with good knowledge of SAS, SPSS or Stata. You will also have several years of experience in predictive modelling with some direct experience within Personal Lines pricing.
