Pricing and Reserving Analyst

Fairbank Partners are working with a leading London market insurer in their search for a nearly or newly qualified Pricing and Reserving Actuary.

The successful candidate will be making good and ongoing progress through the Actuarial exams, and have experience of Pricing and/or Reserving from within the London market. The successful candidate will in turn benefit from the depth and flexibility of working across both Pricing and Reserving for several Lloyd's, company and reinsurance classes, within a strong team.

Key responsibilities:

• Pricing model build, development and maintenance, providing analytical support to underwriters 
• Quarterly reserving, deep dives and reserve reviews
• Solvency II Technical Provisions calculation and documentation
• Managing relationships with finance, claims and underwriting with good autonomy
• Concisely communicating pricing analysis and reserving insights to stakeholders

Key requirements:

• Nearly or newly qualified Actuary, with London market experience
• Good exam progress (competitive study package offered)
• Confident communicator, committed to driving best practice
