Our client is currently looking for a Senior Manager with international pensions experience to manage and lead on projects that involve pension schemes within and outside of the UK. Many of these projects are likely to be M&A driven initially. They are also looking to expand our services providing (a) annual pensions accounting advice to clients, and (b) strategic advice to clients with world-wide pension arrangements. 

You role on these projects will include the following:

- Being responsible for the high quality and complex calculations and written deliverables, often on multiple concurrent projects 
- Being credible and confident delivering advice verbally to senior decision makers at our clients 
- Running large scale projects end to end
- Managing a team of reports on each project, giving regular on the job feedback to develop them
- Building an excellent relationship with the clients
- Looking to expand  the scope of work on a project where appropriate
- Looking for new business opportunities through new or existing clients 
- Sharing your specialist knowledge across the pensions team 
- Being responsible for risk and compliance procedures on each project

Professional qualifications:

Qualified actuary 

Background and experience:

- At least ten years’ experience working in the pensions industry
- Excellent understanding of the UK and international pensions landscape and issues facing clients 
- Consistently able to work at high level of intensity whilst maintaining a professional and positive approach
- Fully engaged and taking responsibility for own performance 
- Contributes to the development of others
