Senior Internal Model Validation Manager

Fairbank Partners are currently assisting a UK life insurer with their search for a Qualified Actuary to join their Model Validation team at the Senior Manager level.

The opportunity offers the following:

• Validation and testing; reporting of results to senior leadership team, the board and regulator.
• Working closely with the Risk and Reporting teams, challenging and influencing outputs and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
• A broad view of the risks affecting all lines of business. 
• Opportunity to manage and mentor more junior staff. 

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Actuary, with experience within Model Validation, Capital Modelling or Internal Model. A strong knowledge of SII is required, as are excellent communication skills.
