Reserving/Capital Actuary

A London Market insurer is looking to bring on a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary to work a mixed role covering both Capital and Reserving.

The main responsibilities of this role include helping maintain and further develop the syndicate capital models, running the validation processes and taking part in the quarterly reserving exercises.

Strong communication skills are needed as frequent liaison with members of other functional units of the business is required, as well as the need to lead on projects and thus delegate and manage small teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Capital and/or Reserving background within the GI industry, having been educated to degree level in a quantitative/analytic discipline.
