Job Details
Leading insurer is seeking a part-qualified actuary (or a talented individual with the required experience) to join its Commercial Underwriting team where you will be instrumental in helping deliver data-driven tactical and strategic support to the business by building predictive models.
Using your skills in data handling and statistical analysis, along with powerful modelling software and analysis tools, you will help the business to understand emerging trends.
With strong experience of general insurance pricing, the successful candidate will ideally possess experience of pricing commercial insurance.
You will also have experience of programming in SAS, or similar programming language, as well as strong Excel skills.
Familiarity with software such as Emblem and Radar is desirable.
