A global reinsurer is looking for a trainee pensions or life actuary with no more than 2 years experience and/or the CT exams for an exciting role within financial reinsurance. You will be getting involved in a variety of project work - longevity swaps, financial reinsurance, transactions, BPA, annuities, etc.
Candidates can come from a pensions or life insurance background but you must be very strong technically and want to get stuck in to a whole variety of financial modelling tasks that are rarely the same from one week to the next!
This would be an excellent way of transitioning out of core pensions work into insurance/reinsurance.
