Job Details
Major reinsurer has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified actuary with extensive Private Debt Investments experience alongside experience of working in a life insurance environment and Solvency II to provide expert insight into the oversight and risk management of a range of private debt transactions.
Providing actuarial asset modelling support for on-going credit risk management, you will contribute your credit expertise to the risk committee and expert panels.
You will also provide independent thought leadership of capital modelling of existing and emerging private debt assets to assess the risk adjusted return on capital trade-offs.
In addition, you will provide internal model methodology support as well as support for the implementation of risk analytics.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will also possess a good understanding of corporate governance practices.
Experience with statistical software such as Matlab and R desirable.
