Job Details
Major insurer is seeking a qualified life actuary with strong interpersonal skills to develop and deliver experience investigations, assumptions setting and methodology to enable the retail protection business to meet its business goals.
In this newly-created role, you will demonstrate your creative analytical thinking by using market insight, internal MI and views gathered from experts in multiple disciplines in Retail Protection to develop an in-depth understanding of Lour client's performance in the UK Protection market.
You will also provide thought leadership on, develop and deliver advanced analytical techniques into existing demographic and financial experience investigations and pricing processes.
In addition, you will play a key role in the assessment of risk management processes to ensure that they are continually refined and improved.
The successful candidate will have the ability to interpret the results of experience investigations, and be able to develop and refine the pricing and reporting assumptions (including calibrations for the internal model).
