My client is seeking to recruit a part qualified pensions actuary.

This team is heavily involved in corporate project work and you will be working with a wide variety of clients from household names and FTSE 100s to some Trustee clients of a range of scheme types and sizes.

You will be responsible for challenging calculation work, solvency testing and buy-in analysis, actuarial valuations for funding purposes, individual member calculations, preparing cash flows for use in asset-liability models and reviewing work of more junior colleagues with lots of scope to move into a Team Leader role early on in your career.

I am looking for:

  • 2 to 5 years' actuarial experience gained in a pensions consultancy environment
  • progress through the FIA examinations
  • excellent technical knowledge of UK pensions
  • strong commercial awareness, written and presentation skills

There is a very competitive study support package and remuneration on offer here, not to mention the excellent opportunities for client contact and exciting project work. Outside of this incredibly wide-ranging role, the business is hot on the heels of CSR, D&I, agile working and ensuring a good work-life balance.

Do get in touch with me for further detail.
