I am currently looking for a part or recently qualified actuary with strong exposure to pensions or investment consultancy, or the asset management industry. This person needs a strong understanding of the Defined Benefit pension scheme industry with experience with running and maintaining Excel models and exposure to asset-liability modelling extremely useful.

The role will entail:

  • Project manage and lead the wider Solutions Strategy team in the development and maintenance of in-house models and automate processes for liability benchmark construction
  • Evolve the liability benchmark business offering and servicing across the business to better support their clients
  • Update and maintain technical inputs for related collateral including presentations, RFPs, and other marketing collateral (internal and external).
  • Support the broader Solutions Strategy team in on going work, such as client based liability benchmark construction and pooled LDI client engagement.

Contract will be for 12 months and will be up to £500 per day.
