Reporting Manager – J3525
Our client is seeking a Reporting Manager to join their actuarial team in Dublin city centre. This vacancy will report directly to the HoAF and manage a team of four. The company is in acquisition mode, so it is an interesting time to join with plenty of opportunities for development and progression. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure of working closely with the HoAF and this is an excellent opportunity for those with future deputy HoAF and HoAF ambitions.
Responsibilities of the Reporting Manager will include but are not limited to:
- Leading the actuarial team with the calculation and analysis of the Solvency 2 Technical Provisions and SCR on a standard formula. Production, identification and explanation of the sources of the Own Funds and Solvency Capital Requirement. Overseeing actuarial preparations for HoAF, ORSA and SFCR/RSR. Specification and testing of changes to the Prophet model and IT developments as required for existing or new business.
This role is suitable for recently qualified Life actuaries. Nearly qualified candidates with previous team lead or management experience will also be considered. Ideally candidates will have a financial reporting background, with strong experience and knowledge of Solvency II, Economic Capital and MCEV reporting, as well as strong Prophet skills. Confident communication skills are essential.
