An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a first-class Actuary / CFA to join a recently-created Private Equity business in London.

With focus on the Life Insurance European market, this Private Equity firm is currently looking to grow its Analytics team.

In this role you will be assessing the deals and be involved in interesting and varied work: looking at ways to optimise the assets, looking at exotic instruments from banks, valuation from actuarial perspective, market risk optimisation, asset side analysis, risk quantification.

You will have strong quantitative skills and good understanding of both assets and liabilities. You will have 2-6 years of experience in a Life Insurer or Life Consultancy (Insurance Investment team) / FIG Investment Banking / Private Equity / Asset Management (Insurance Structuring). A high-level understanding of SII and Insurance products is essential as well as familiarity with Fixed Income and Derivatives. Programming skills such as Matlab / Python / R are beneficial.

This role is perfect for somebody qualified as CFA who has also taken some actuarial exams.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business with a very promising future and work alongside experts in the field.

A strong compensation package will be offered.

Please apply online now for immediate consideration. We would also be happy to have informal conversation if you would like to find out more and you can reach Ioana Pribac on 020 30175121.
