A large Pan-Asian Life Insurer are seeking an actuarial assistant manager to join their well-regarded team in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Team Lead of Capital Management, you will be responsible for valuation, financial condition assessment and other actuarial analysis needed to support the business including:

  •  Stress test analysis on financial condition of the insurance funds
  •  Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) 
  •  Analysis of stress capital requirements
  •  Strategic planning
  •  Maintenance and enhancement of Prophet/DCS models
  •  Management of Par Fund
  •  Economic assumptions for pricing and valuation

Suitable candidates will have made good progress with the actuarial exams or be recently qualified from a recognised international actuarial body, with at least 3 years' actuarial experience. Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving skills, including proficiency in Prophet and Excel is essential. Applicants MUST be currently based in Asia.
