Major insurer is seeking a qualified life actuary to provide high quality financial analysis to support decision-making across a range of strategic opportunities.

In this key role, you will support the development of the strategic implementation plan that builds value over and above the sum of the Business Unit parts.

Supporting and identifying relevant business development and M&A opportunities, you will support the financial assessment of acquisition and other commercial opportunities by carrying out financial due diligence and analysing and optimising the impact on reported results.

In addition, you will support the delivery of the financial management information and scenario analysis capability to assist in the management of our client's business performance.

With UK Financial Reporting experience, the successful candidate will possess knowledge of reporting metrics: SII, IFRS, Economic Capital.

Experience of UK life insurance products also essential, in particular in managing investment and longevity risk.
