A prestigious life insurer are seeking to hire a qualified actuary for a management role within their finance function as their Finance Actuary. You would be tasked with coming up with ideas for improving business performance and processes and adding value for consideration by the senior finance actuaries. The team undertakes analysis and reports on hedging, capital raising, assets, new business, solvency, sensitivity to assumptions etc. This information is reported internally and externally, and is crucial to the success and smooth running of the business. In this role you will be support the Chief Actuary and senior actuaries in a range of ad hoc actuarial projects as they arise additionally. You will be a qualified actuary with relevant experience. This is a management position. Prior experience in preparing MCEV, IFRS and Solvency II reporting, including information for year-end reports is essential.
