Marketing Analytics - Analyst

Location: Central London

You will be working within a global media agency, committed to blurring the lines between media and creativity, between data and content, between science and art.

Our client offers a variety of services that go far beyond the traditional media planning and buying business models, providing expert consultative services across media strategy, planning, investment, business management, digital, and insight & analytics.

The role:

The BAE (Business Analytics Engine) Analyst is a key role within the Marketing Science team. Together with the team lead, you will be transforming the role of Analytics across the company, ensuring that the agency`s clients have access to the best analytical solutions. It will be essential that you build close relationships with Planning and Insight teams to fully embed solutions.

More importantly, you will also be expected to work collaboratively with your counterparts within the wider analytics division.  Here you will need to identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation, in particular with their data ecosystem.

Knowledge of agency products:

- Be core member of analytics team and BAE data transformation agenda
- Help build collateral that demonstrates the value of analytics in both the long & short-term

Working on client projects:

- Deliver creative analytics solutions with support of Team Leads
- Attend workshops that clarify underlying objectives and unite project stakeholders
- Uncover insightful stories with data that effectively demonstrate real world applications
- Communicate findings to Team Leads
- Deliver project work on schedule and within budget, flagging any potential issues early
- Ensure excellent service is delivered as standard

Other responsibilities:

- Support senior Team Lead on new business opportunities and other ad hoc pitch requests
- Respond quickly to urgent requests, prioritizing work accordingly
- Proactively put forward ideas on how to improve and develop new tools
- Actively learn about all facets of Marketing Mix Modelling, Digital Attribution, Jones Analysis, Regression Models and Audience Segmentation
- Attend conferences to keep the company at the forefront of wider industry developments

Personal attributes:

- University graduate (statistics, mathematics, business intelligence & analytics, or marketing focus preferred)
- Previous exposure to Marketing Mix Models
- Familiarity with the mathematics behind ROI
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
- Solutions orientated with natural problem solving skills
- Able to adapt communication style to situation
- Consistently meets deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
