Special Projects Actuary - Life
Are you a qualified life actuary with an excellent understanding of capital and reporting? Would you relish the opportunity to take the lead on a major, commercially-focused project? Reporting to the Finance Director, you will review and re-engineer the approach to the actuarial valuation’s capabilities and processes, including enhancing the information derived from it.
Sounding out a range of stakeholders, you will identify and compare their ideal requirements against the current delivery from the actuarial valuation processes.
From there, you will then develop a programme of planned changes and present a cost benefit analysis to be approved by the Board, including the identification of more efficient and cost-effective processes alongside the strengthening of the control framework.
Experience of MoSes (or other software languages) is required whilst experience of systems transformation would be an advantage.
