Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for developing product strategy for your areas of remit (to be determined) that satisfies the needs of existing clients, regulation and the company’s growth ambitions
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the product suite (under your remit), ensuring the products are “fit for purpose”, profitable, competitive and compliant. The scope of your role will include the completion of product reviews and the presentation of such reviews to internal governance committees (in line with internal governance procedures and regulatory requirements)
  • Utilising your own knowledge of the needs of clients, you will be responsible for identifying new products/features/tools/product applications. The scope of your role will include assistance with investigative work and working collaboratively with colleagues in technical, marketing and distribution functions
  • You will be responsible for the design and launch of new products. The scope of your role will include the preparation of product specifications, product approval documents and the procuring of required approvals to launch such new products
  • It is paramount that you maintain excellent working relationships with your colleagues. The scope of your role will involve a significant amount of stakeholder engagement and management, throughout which you will need to provide strong representation as an “owner” of a subset of the company’s product suite
  • As a member of the Product team and as “owner” for the products under your remit, you will be responsible for carrying out product-related tasks required to support the needs of colleagues


  • A professional tertiary qualification is desirable (e.g. Economics, Business, Actuarial) but not mandatory
  • Must be proficient in the design and development of insurance-based products in the cross-border life market (e.g. portfolio bonds)
  • Must have a good understanding of the financial planning needs of expats and locals and how the company’s products/product applications may meet those needs
  • Must have the ability to learn quickly the various applications of the company’s products
  • Must have a good knowledge of cross border life insurance market, including the competitive landscape, key distribution channels and the needs of distributors
