Interim Actuarial Reporting Director
Oliver James Associates requires an interim Actuarial Reporting Director to support a major insurer in the UK. The business is offering a day rate contract based in London. The ideal candidate will have worked in a senior capacity, ideally within a consultancy (Big 4), and have significant reporting experience.
Duration: 6 - 12 months
The Actuarial Director will be a thought leader and implementer of Actuarial reporting external and for future development (e.g. IFRS17), and will be responsible for owning, managing, understanding and resolving actuarial reporting issues management throughout the organisation.
- Qualified actuary
- Partner in an actuarial consultancy preferred or senior industry experience.
- Significant experience in a senior management position preferably in a financial services organisation with exposure to business units.
- Has initiated, led and successfully completed major change programmes
- Detailed understanding of life & general insurance market including financial management, financial reporting products and product life cycle
