About the Role:

A leading global life reinsurer is seeking a talented and proactive Protection Pricing Actuary to join their expanding Protection Pricing Team. Based in London, you will support clients across the UK and Ireland, working closely with internal teams to deliver top-tier protection quotes, technical pricing support, and innovative solutions to drive business growth. This is a firm that offers lots of wider international exposure beyond the UK also. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of new business quotations for life and health products, managing a team of analysts to meet client needs.Analyse experience data to derive technical pricing for new business opportunities, communicating findings to key stakeholders.Maintain an in-depth understanding of the UK life insurance market, ensuring market developments are considered in pricing and technical support.Collaborate with the Client Solutions Team to build strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions.Contribute to internal strategic projects, including evaluating novel data sources, identifying new rating factors, and improving pricing processes.Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified actuary with significant post-qualification experience in life (re)insurance, life consultancy, or similar statistical pricing roles.Strong understanding of the UK life insurance market, with experience in the protection market being highly desirable.Highly analytical with a background in experience analysis, ideally from life insurance or a related field (e.g., general insurance).Proven ability to manage a team, mentor colleagues, and contribute to technical and professional development within a fast-paced environment.Why Apply?
