Bolton Associates is working with a global leader in reinsurance seeking a Pricing Actuary, with a primary focus on Casualty. This role involves close internal and external collaboration to deliver insightful, data-driven analysis that informs strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess the profitability of Casualty reinsurance contracts.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and actuarial teams to ensure consistent pricing practices globally.
  • Engage with clients and brokers to gather and analyse essential information.
  • Utilise internal systems and third-party models to extract and report key portfolio insights.
  • Update models through comprehensive line-of-business studies.

 

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a nearly/newly qualified actuary with at least five years of actuarial experience and a strong understanding of reinsurance. They are seeking a commercially minded individual with excellent communication skills who thrives in a dynamic environment.
