  • Collaborate Closely: Work with underwriters to define key policy features and identify internal and external data sources to enhance pricing accuracy.
  • Drive Portfolio Optimisation: Lead portfolio optimisation and capital allocation workstreams, using MI and pricing metrics to identify and address underperforming segments.
  • Innovate and Implement: Assist with the implementation and maintenance of pricing software, adding bespoke features tailored to underwriting needs.
  • Strategic Contribution: Play a key role in feedback loops between annual planning, pricing, reserving, and capital, ensuring a holistic approach to business decisions.

What’s In It for You?

  • Hybrid Working: Flexibility to balance office and remote working tailored to your needs.
  • Outstanding Package: A salary of up to £140,000, plus a market-leading additional package.
  • Growth Opportunity: Influence the direction of pricing strategies across a diverse range of property classes.
  • Collaboration and Impact: Work closely with underwriters, capital, and reserving teams to drive innovation and profitability.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Strong pricing knowledge, particularly in Property classes or Specialty lines such as Political Risk, PV, War, and Terror.
  • Familiarity with programming in R or Python is a plus.
