Regional Life Actuary, Director

My client, a global life insurer, is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Actuary to join their Asset and Liability Management (ALM) regional team and lead groundbreaking initiatives in risk management, capital optimization, and strategic investment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the Charge: Drive cutting-edge ALM hedging strategies and capital optimization to shape the future of their business.
• Innovate with Impact: Play a key role in ALM optimization under the IFRS17 framework and evaluate new product development and investment initiatives.
• Manage Risk: Oversee liquidity risk analysis, cashflow projections, and stress tests to guide sound decision-making.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with Group and local ALM teams to strengthen ALM models, hedging capabilities, and governance practices.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience & Expertise: At least 10 years of experience in life insurance or consultancy with a solid track record of ALM and derivatives hedging
• Qualified Actuary: With deep knowledge of IFRS17, regulatory solvency (Singapore/Hong Kong), and advanced investment strategies.
• International Experience: Experience working with virtual teams and a collaborative approach to solving challenges.
