A Syndicate is looking to hire a Qualified Actuary to join their growing team as a Portfolio Management Actuary. This role does have management responsibilities of 1 direct report.

This role would suit a commercially driven actuary who has an entrepreneurial mindset. You will be taking a lead on portfolio management activities and work collaboratively with the actuarial function. You will be supporting the business planning process which includes providing analytical support. You will be looking at reinsurance strategy also.

This is an excellent opportunity to join at an exciting time of growth within the wider group.

They are looking to speak to candidates who come from one of the following backgrounds: portfolio management, pricing or capital modelling. If you have experience in SQL, R and Python that is advantageous. You must be able to be creative with problem solving as well.
