Job Details

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Part Qualified actuary to join a major Irish Insurer as a Pricing Analyst. In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Pricing and Analytics. This position is based in Dublin 12 and has a hybrid work structure. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop general insurance pricing and analytical skills while being provided with a study support package.

 

About this Pricing Analyst role 

Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Pricing & Analytics support and development.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Assisting with the system-based pricing model design, testing, and maintenance.
  • Preparing actuarial analysis relating to Price adequacy to inform strategic decision.
  • Develop and enhance pricing structures based on analytical insights to support company strategy.

 

Actuarial skills required

This role will suit a Part Qualified Actuary with a relevant bachelor’s degree in the Mathematical or Actuarial discipline. Candidates will ideally have experience of the following: 

  • Excellent communication, written, oral and verbal skills.
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude.
  • Strong Programming skills (SAS, SQL).
  • Capable of working effectively both on a team and individually.
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
