Senior Actuarial Pricing Analyst - Funded reinsurance

An exciting opportunity in a fast growing pricing team at a prestigious life reinsurer has arisen for a senior student / nearly qualified actuary, who is seeking their next challenge. This is a dynamic team who operate in a fast moving environment based around transaction processes that are ongoing. You will need to have a personality to work in a commercial and varied environment to meet the high standards that exist within this highly regarded team. Life insurance actuaries from a range of backgrounds can be considered, but you will need to be technically strong and ideally have some of the following experience:

• Either a pricing background OR
• Good general understanding of market risks (interest rates, FX, credit spread, liquidity) and how they impact insurance capitalization OR
• Understanding of Pension Risk Transfer markets OR
• Understanding of life insurance company balance sheets and capital and profit reporting regimes (IFRS, Solvency II, US GAAP, BMA).

This is a highly visible team and you will get the opportunity to present to very senior stakeholders within this team. This team also work on funded reinsurance deals and so anyone with an interest in assets / investments may find this role appealing also.
