We are partnering with a leading international insurer to find a strategic lead for their Catastrophe Risk team. This role offers the chance to define industry-leading practices in catastrophe modelling, analytics, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Lead a global team focused on natural catastrophe and terror modelling.
🔹 Collaborate with risk leadership to shape vision and strategy.
🔹 Mentor and develop team members while driving impactful research projects.
🔹 Present insights to third-party capital partners and represent the organisation at industry events.

What you will need:

🔸 Proven experience in leading technical teams.
🔸 Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in a relevant scientific field.
🔸 Deep knowledge of catastrophe reinsurance and modelling.
🔸 Strong analytical skills and proficiency in R, Python, SQL.
