Actuarial Analyst - Pricing

The ideal applicant for this position will be a Part Qualified Actuary with 2-3 years’ experience in pricing or product development. About the Actuarial Analyst – Pricing Role
Duties for this position include (but are not limited to):

• Design and enhance product and pricing strategies that effectively address internal requirements while also meeting external market expectations.
• Maintain a strong compliance framework by ensuring that appropriate controls, policies, and documentation are in place to meet all legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Support the creation of strategic business case analyses to understand and achieve a favourable combination of growth and profitability.
• Offer technical pricing expertise and analysis for critical business initiatives.

Actuarial skills required

The role would suit a Part Qualified Actuary with 2-3 years industry experience. Applicants must ideally have experience of the following:

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in Pricing or Product development is advantageous.
• Strong experience of Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI.
• Skilled communicator with the capacity to bridge the gap between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills.
