Eames Consulting has partnered with a leading syndicate that is looking for a Senior Catastrophe Analyst to join its Non Nat CAT Modelling function. This is an excellent opportunity to take on senior responsibilities at an early stage of your career and work closely with the Catastrophe Manager and Senior Underwriters.
Responsibilities:
- Produce modelled results for Underwriters across Terrorism, Political Violence, Political Risk, and Casualty lines of business.
- Peer review and manage an offshore modelling team.
- Produce reports for Lloyd's and various internal stakeholders, including monthly presentations to Senior Underwriters.
- Mentor junior analysts.
- Project work including a move from RMS to Verisk modelling software.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a Catastrophe Modelling or Exposure Management position in the London Market.
- Experience using RMS or Verisk modelling software, preference will be given to candidates with experience using Sequel Impact.
- Experience using SQL and Excel, the ideal candidate will be able to edit scripts.
- Experience with regulatory reporting.
