Senior Reserving Actuary

We are working exclusively with a growing company who are looking for a Senior Reserving Actuary to join their team in London. The role reports directly into the Chief Actuary with an opportunity for direct line management too.

This is a very important hire for the business and it will be a highly impactful position with great exposure to the wider company, specifically senior stakeholders and the underwriting team. As this is a small team, there will be an abundance of opportunities to get involved in, such as a large transformation project, and there's no limit to how far you can advance internally. 

The role will oversee the whole reserving process, will have elements of capital modelling, and will work on a range of P&C and Specialty products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive GI reserving experience within the London Market, and have tangible examples of working closely with underwriters. Communication skills are required for this role, prior portfolio management and business planning exposure would be beneficial. Qualification isn't necessary for this role, it's more about the breadth and depth of experience for our client.

Salary is up to £135k DOE and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week.  Unfortunately our client cannot offer sponsorship.
