Market leading insurer seeking an actuary or non-actuarial pensions specialist to join them in a technical Pensions Calculations role as a consultant

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a market leading insurer seeking an actuary or non-actuarial pensions specialist to join them in a technical Pensions Calculations role as a consultant.

Within this role you will support the business by providing expertise on complex benefit structures, manual calculations and being a subject matter expert on all ongoing and new schemes coming into the in-house Client Services team. You will also take a lead role in the team for checking individual Defined Benefits quotations, design & issue of non-standard communication to both members and 3rd party intermediaries.

Role requirements:

• Excellent technical DB knowledge from within consultancy, insurance or a TPA
• FIA qualified or working towards, or equivalent technical experience
• Experience with manual calculations
